Only I would be in the city for a Super Bowl game and come away with a dress. It's the sickness, people.

I was on the fence with this dress because even though it was on sale, I don't exactly need another dress. But the wily salesgirl then told me that there are three ways to style this dress and I was immediately sold. I may not need another dress, but I sure could use three more. ;)

Even though I hate Valentine's Day(that story for another day), I figured I would wear something festive anyway. I have this J. Crew skirt in both black and pink, but I have to say, I wear the pink one much more often.


And though I might have an aversion to this day, my gay husband sent me the prettiest arrangements of flowers to work. I know, right? He spoils me.

 

 Yes, that card reads "I hate you."

I really can't help myself when it comes to floral prints. And Zara.

When I saw this skirt online, I was a little worried that it would look a little too Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde, but the gay husband talked me into it. This is another reason why we are so good for each other—encouraging the other to take fashion risks. :)

On that note, Fashion Week is mere days away and it is going to get insane in the office. Fingers crossed that I'll still have my sanity in tact at the end of all this!

No, that is not a Photoshop trick I'm using on those pictures. It really was a super sunny weekend in the Bay area.

I got this dress on my trip back home over the holidays and I've been dying for it to get warm enough for me to wear it out without looking like a crazy lady.

On that note, have y'all seen the Cashmere Shop over at J. Crew? Delicious. I need to remind myself that I'm a weirdo about winter wear so I do not need to buy anything. But seriously. They're calling my name.
